Diorama Card

Hello to all our crafting friends, it's been a time since our last post, but
we've both been very busy doing loads of crafty stuff and playing
with loads of new products and trying new techniques too!

Sam has been working on some projects for a craft magazine, so
the next few blogs will be showing those. The first of this series
is a Diorama card, using products from Crafters Companion.

The materials you'll need for this Diorama card are:
Crafters Companion Kraft Diorama card blank
Saras Vintage Tea Party Tea Time Celebration die
Teariffic sentiment dies
Tea and Biscuits die
Tea party bakers twine
Tea party 6x6 paper pad
Centura Pearl pastels
Collall tacky glue
Chunky crystal glitter
Tonic Nuvo Pearl drops
Step 1 Firstly die cut the large Tea Time Celebration die into
the front panel of the Kraft base card, then repeat using
Centura Pearl pink, mint and lemon cardstock too.
Die cut the biscuits die in Kraft card and the three colours
of Centura card also. Die cut the TEAriffic sentiment die
in Kraft card and lemon Pearl card.

Step 2 Next choose a coordinating piece from the 6 x 6
paper pad and glue to the inside of the Kraft card back panel.

Step 3 Cut the pink die cut piece to fit exactly over the
Kraft card panel but cut away the centre leaving just the frame
attached, then cut some remaining elements from the die
cut and glue onto the Kraft card base. Repeat this with the
green piece, but remove outer frame too adding more
elements to the picture and finally cutting the teapot from the
yellow piece and some other extras to form a collage of
card piecing.

Step 4 Fold and glue the side panels of the Diorama card
together, wrap bakers twine around each side panel and
embellish with different coloured biscuit die cuts and
sprinkle with crunchy crystal glitter and add Pearl drops
where appropriate. Shadow the sentiment and glue to the
lower part of the frame.

Well that rounds up this blog, but there are still another 5 cards
in this series, so keep an eye out as we'll be posting those soon!

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
